Starting Over
Well today I am starting over on my lifestyle change. I got frusterated several weeks ago and deleted my buddyslim account and went completely off track. I took care of some issues in my personal and home life and I am hoping to start over fresh.
I talked to my doctor about my difficulty in losing weight and she suggested I start watching my carb intake. So I am doing somewhat of a moderated version of the Atkins Diet. I did the full on Atkins Diet a few years ago and did really well with it, I just don’t feel like it is healthy to cut out fruits, veggies and whole grains all together. So I am trying something new, so we’ll see how it works.
My exercise goals for the week are to bike an hour a day and walk an hour a day, 5 days a week. I also want to start a strength training program to do 3 days a week.
I am looking for some accountability buddies if anyone wants to team up and keep each other in check!!

Best wishes on your new plan–I hope you find success with it. Have a great week! Your exercise plan looks fantastic!
You go girl!!! Sounds like we have some stuff in common. I deleted my Budy Slim account about a year ago because I too was not in a place to start losing wieght. Now I use all of it, the blogs, food journal, forums everything! My weight loss has been slow, I just got started with excersizing. I first worked on my eating habits, then adding water and no wexcersizing (For me, I had to do it in steps). I have only lost 7 pounds, BUT I suspect that will pick up now that I am getting excersize! Best of luck to you!

Maybe you could do something like I did and just cut out enriched flour only products like white breads and pastas. Anything that had the words enriched flour was a no no for me. Only Whole Grain products were fine. I lost alot of weight doing that and still ate my fruits and veggies. Good luck in whatever you choose to do this week. Your workout plan looks great! Go Wild Cats!
Good luck!Yeah, I feel you need fruit veggies and grains, too. I have checked thatdiet out, and I’m not thrilled about not having those in the diet. Good job on the workout plan, too!
